After a strategic discussion at a recent Board meeting we have decided to temporarily stop teaching English Out There in London for the first time in almost eight years.

This decision was not taken lightly and we sincerely regret if it causes you or your clients any inconvenience and would like you to accept our apology.

A number of different factors combined to make this the ideal time to do what we are going to try and do. Which is to make EOT in London even more of a language travel product for the 21st century.

The final lesson, to be taught at Mortimer Street (on the premises of UIC) will be on Friday 27th February.

Please do not send us bookings for dates after 27th February until you receive further notice from us.

Our business is changing rapidly and we are moving more online (both in the publication of our unique teaching and learning materials AND in the teaching and organising of face-to-face EOT courses in London).

We intend to try and take the final step Out There and to finally leave the constraints of the classroom behind for good and make the contextualisation, memorability and value for money of our lessons complete. We are probably the only language teaching organisation in the world that can even consider doing this, because of our methodology, and it now seems an obvious route to take.

So, in the last two months we have stopped arranging accommodation for partners who booked courses with us, and now we are stopping taking bookings for a while whilst we re-organise.

We have now field tested our online agent booking system and it works very well and we are about to enter a period of extreme innovation and have already started testing some online face-to-face teaching administration software programmes, one or more of which we hope to integrate much more into our business model.

Traffic to our new website is now growing exponentially and more and more agents, teachers and learners are contacting us to ask us how Out There works and what it can do for them.  Do please go there and read what we have to say about learning languages, currently almost 20% of visitors to our website are spending between 15 minutes and over 1 hour reading the site, per visit.

We will keep you updated and feel sure that, when we are ready, we will have a new EOT product that will do the same EOT things you and your clients like, only better for everyone concerned.

Finally, re: summer bookings, we do intend to be back for the summer with the new system, so do please keep details of enquirers and keep them informed.

Thanks for your help and support as we change yet again in our quest to create the best and best value short English courses available in London. We would like to reassure you that we consider agency representation such as yours to be a cornerstone of our new business model.

    Cheers

    Jason
