Listen to me read this newsletter: you can see and hear me read this newsletter on our Facebook fans page (thought it would be a fun experiment...it is unedited, so be warned!), click here:

Ok, you live or teach English in a country that does not use English as its first language. How the hell do you use EOT materials?  This question seems to have baffled some of our tribe of willing EOT ambassadors for a while.  Of course you can use EOT materials in any location, in any country and get real focused practice with native and fluent English speakers for you or your students.  It is easy...click here to find out how easy:

If you still want to know why EOT was created, what the science is behind it and why it works so well (both face to face and online) then you should watch the video of me giving this talk in our new EOT classroom on the amazing virtual learning platform Wiziq.com

It is free to watch and you just need to sign up to Wiziq.com (which is easy, they don't spam and are nice people...the platform is developed from teachers' feedback and suggestions). I will be doing a live session again next week at the same time and hope to schedule some EOT classes soon. Click on the link below for further enlightenment (to open the video):

Live classes given by me next week:

New free language tesing system launched by Languages Out There. The CV is almost dead, Google and other tech companies just Google you and look at your LinkedIn or Facebook and other personal social media and then decide if you fit the job. So, what if you need to prove that you can speak English to a certain level to get that interview? Send a CV that says you have IELTS 7.0 and a scan of your CAE certificate? Pictures of you receiving it on-stage at the end of an expensive 6 months at the 'Sit There and Look Interested School of English' in some derelict English seaside town? No...you go here:

Here's how to do it: Create your own Facebook fan page and then use the intergated video capture  to video yourself talking to camera from your desktop having a chat with someone in English face to face or on Skype or even just reading your printed CV out to camera. Then send the link to colleges or employers you are applying to.  Simple, effective and fun. (N.B. there are other desktop apps that you can use to capture webcam video and other online services that do it).

The world's first ever English coursebook incorporating real practice using online social media and VoIP (golly that's a mouthful!) is now 'Look Inside' enabled on Amazon, so you can see the contents page and some of the materials inside, go to:

This book saves teachers time and money whilst helping English learners to improve fast and spread a little global love by making friends with practice partners the world over.

You might not know (or care) but we have had a channel on Youtube for a while now...see students talking about their experiences of EOT:

    A: Eileen.

    Until next time...

    Cheers
