Notes (N.B. written in 2003): Over the 726 feedback forms, we have used two questions - one simply 'Learning English?' and the other 'How much has your English improved?' They basically mean the same thing so I have put the results together. All forms were given to the inspectors to look at over the full two day inspection period and are available for any member of the ASAC to come and have a look at either privately, or in a group. The results include those feedback forms of all school groups, kids whose parents sent them and did not come to us through their own choice most of the time. They were also in 'closed groups' (about 120 of them in total) and they skew the results slight down. N.B. This skew is in the 1-2 week course length column as all of them studied with us for 2 weeks at a time. On the feedback forms, 1 was the lowest (unhappy face), 3 was average or satisfactory (normal face) and 5 was extremely happy (smiley face). The percentage of clients who thought that we had 'satisfied' their expectations for learning (marks 3, 4 and 5) was 93.80% (see far right column - 30.30+37.05+26.45 =93.80). As you can see in the far right hand column, 63.50% of our clients gave us either 4 or 5 out of 5 for 'learning' (37.05+26.45 = 63.50). And that on average, across all course lengths, 26.45% of our clients gave us 5 out of 5 for 'learning'. We are greatly encouraged by the consistency of the figures across the course lengths, and especially by the fact that the recommendation figures are extremely close to the percentages of the total numbers of clients 'satisfied' that their learning expectations have been met (93-94% every time - combining marks 3, 4 and 5), and by the results for the shortest courses of between 1 to 4 days (i.e. individual three hour classes). blog comments powered by Disqus |
